Veterans Day 2009 in Central Illinois

For the first time, in memory of veterans, American Legion Post #32, located on Sangamon Avenue across the street from the main gate of the Illinois State Fairgrounds, erected miniature crosses each bearing the name of a post member who passed away during the past year. Fifty-one crosses could be seen outside Post 32 on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2009.
